How cute are these apple cards? Tuck one in your child’s lunch box. Or give a homebaked gift to the teacher with one of these notes enclosed. Send one to someone who is the apple of your eye. Or add one to a scrapbook page with a photo inside. Packs of 6 are now available at www.stampexpressstore.com. On the pie card I marbleized the apple with the cube from Stampendous. The teacher stamp is from JustRite. I’m not sure about the pie, but think it’s Impression Obsession. Circles and bite marks were cut with Nesties from Spellbinders. And coloring was done with Copic markers. Try making an apple a day and keep the blues away!

What's Cooking Apple Love Note

Teacher Treats Apple Love Note
The new double-sided papers for fall and winter arrived from BoBunny. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. So I’m rushing the season, but here’s a card for my son’s fall birthday. I’ve noticed that everyone is combining printed decorator papers. I used two different designs on this card. Then I embellished with Stamp Express quality cardstocks in three colors. The half scalloped circle is a Nestie cut in half. I don’t know whose stamp this is. It’s old and may be Inkadinkadoo. The hardest part of the whole card was threading the embroidery floss through the buttons. But, you can’t have naked buttons! I colored the stamped image with Copic markers to match the papers. The NEW BoBunny papers are now available on our website (www.stampexpressstore.com)

Fall Colors Birthday Card
My sister and brother-in-law are celebrating their wedding anniversary next week. I couldn’t wait to try out the new Spellbinders fancy tags die, so I combined the two desires into one card! BoBunny double sided paper with butterflies seemed summery and romantic. I used it for a background and also cut out the butterfly from another piece. The stamp is from JustRite and fit into the blank part of the tag “just right”. Ribbon was from my stash. I hope they enjoy getting this card and our best wishes. I enjoyed making it for them. You can get the tag dies at our on-line store now and see how you like them.

Celebrating Your Love Anniversary Card
This is the time to start making 2012 calendars for gifts and for yourself. Stamp Express now has 12″x12″ blank calendars as well as the 8″x8″ ones. Both are conveniently sized so that you can remove the pages and place them in your 12″ or 8″ albums at the end of the year. Here is an example of a page I made for an 8″ calendar this year. Many of our customers did theirs with themes like Hawaii, birthdays, and baby. I tended to follow the seasons in mine. The possibilities are endless. Add appropriate photos and the gift is priceless!
