Lent has started and it’s time to make Easter cards for your kids, grandkids, friends and family. Here are some I made for the gift shop at the market. The vintage print is really easy. Just layer paper and add ruffled ribbon (love this ribbon). Top it off with a flower and a message inside.
For more stamping and coloring I used Stampavie stamps and Copic markers. Again, layering and embellishments give these cards a professional look. The bunny stamp comes without words, so you can add whatever you want him to write. Use this stamp for birthdays, thank yous, and other occasions depending on what you have the rabbit write. Really a useful stamp.
I gave the chick wiggly eyes (you know how I love wiggly eyes). The punch is a Martha Stewart, and ribbon from Morex. Designer papers are from Bo Bunny. Stamps, papers, vintage prints and Copics are all available at www.stampexpressstore.com.
Spring is in the air!

Brushstrokes and Blessings asked us to make some baby cards for them to sell. It just so happened that we were using this adorable giraffe stamp from Stampendous for a class we’re teaching at a trade show next month. So, these cards were “born”! The giraffes were colored with Copic markers. The cardstock is our own quality cardstock. Designer paper is from BoBunny and Colorbok. The ovals are Spellbinders Nesties. And I just LOVE the ruffled ribbon from Morex. I think we will soon be selling this at our on-line store. Hopefully we will have the stamps to sell in about 2 weeks also. Keep checking back at www.stampexpressstore.com.

There is a chill in the air, and what is better than sipping a cup of hot tea, coffee, or chocolate? Send these thoughts in our NEW cup shaped cards. They are super for get well, thinking of you, and winter birthdays. And what fun they are to decorate. I like the teacup the best. I used BoBunny designer paper, Morex ruffled ribbon, a Stampendous stamp and a real teabag tag. But, I am more of a coffee drinker, so I had to make a coffee card. Again I used BoBunny paper, Morex ribbon and I’m not sure on the stamp company. The cocoa cup has Hampton Art stamps, and marshmallow topping cut freehand. Any of these cards would extend warm greetings this time of year. Purchase the cup cards at www.stampexpressstore.com.

I wanted to feature all the new stamps we have at our on-line store. We got a JustRite order and I made these two cards. Then one of our sales reps asked me to teach a class at her company’s trade show in March and i devoted all my time to working on that instead of the other new stamps. Be sure to check out what we got at the store www.stampexpressstore.com. And, maybe I’ll give you a sneak peak next week of the projects we are doing with the new Irogetin pencils from Tombow. One of the classes at the trade show will be focusing on these.
For my mom’s birthday in March, I made a spring-like card with flowers and a saying about flowers. I used the circle cut-out card from Stamp Express, paper from BoBunny, dies from Spellbinders, Copic markers, Martha Stewart punch, and of course stamps from JustRite.
The kid’s birthday card is sooo cute with animal print paper from BoBunny, stamps from JustRite Copic markers, Stamp Express quality cardstock, Martha Stewart punch and buttons from my stash. I hope you enjoy these.

It’s time to start thinking about spring and St. Patrick’s Day. Make green cards now and have them ready to mail next month. Here are 3 I made to sell at Brushstrokes and Blessings at the West Shore Farmers Market. My vintage print card features a Martha Stewart border punch, EK Corner Adorner, a Stamp Express vintage print, Stamp Express quality cardstock and Colorbok designer paper. This card would also be good for a March birthday.
Erin go braugh uses a Stamp Barn stamp, Colorbok paper and a Martha Stewart punch. The Kiss me card has Spellbinders label, May Arts ribbon, BoBunny designer paper that is hand stitched and Copic markers accented with Stickles for the gold.
Layering is the technique we want to stress here. One customer asked me how to keep her cards from looking like a kid’s coloring book. I feel that layering is the answer. Use patterned paper, stamps punches, ribbons, cardstock and embellishments to promote an adult look. Too much is never enough! You can purchase supplies for your green cards at
www.stampexpressstore.com. Go Green!
