No matter how old they are, I still like to send the grandkids a Halloween treat. Now that they’re adults it’s in the form of a check! Here are the cards I made for them. Thought you’d find it interesting that I really didn’t use Halloween designer papers for layering. I just used what I had and made it look Halloweenish. The papers are from BoBunny, cardstock from Stamp Express, stamps from JustRite, dies from Spellbinders, and Sizzix ( the spiderweb). I colored with Copic markers and finished off with Prima flowers, ribbons and buttons from my stash and a word stamp from Hero Arts. I hope you enjoy these. The fall stamps from JustRite are all so super I couldn’t make up my mind on what to do first. Here’s what I came up with for some of them. I’m still coloring others so stay tuned! All are colored with Copic markers and mounted on various circles from Spellbinders nestabilities. Solid cardstock is C’ordinations and Stamp Express quality cardstock. Diecuts on the scrapbook page are Sizzix, flowers are Prima and ribbon is from my stash. A little Stickles brightened up the jack-o’lantern eyes. What fun these were to make. Try them.

House Mouse images just make you smile. And, this month’s Halloween set is adorable. Here are 2 of the 4 cards we have planned for the class at Olde Towne Books and Brew on Oct 1st. The Dracula mouse is being held off by the mouse with garlic! Stamps are from Stampabilities and colored with Copic markers. Designer paper is BoBunny, The second card uses Stamp Express pumpkin lovenotes. Inside we cut out just the vampire mouse and saying. BoBunny holiday paper is topped with JustRite stamps and ribbon. Betsy has 4 holiday projects planned for her class that day. Barb is working on a gift idea and I’ll come up with something! Plus Myra is cooking and baking a delicious lunch and snacks. We hope to see you all at both of these events.
