Happy fall y’all! This is my favorite time of year. I think it’s the colors of the season that are so appealing. Here are two autumn cards made with the same papers, but different stamps. Both stamps are from JustRite, and the colors are Copic markers. Stamp Express quality cardstock and BoBunny designer papers were used along with May Arts ribbons. The diecut pieces were done with the Cuttlebug and Nesties from Spellbinders. The little acorns are buttons. I’m using these cards for fall birthdays, but they could be get well, thinking of you, or any occasion. Try using some of your papers and vary the look with the images. We have so much scrap paper. We have to make good use of it. Stamps and products are for sale at www.stampexpressstore.com.
The fall stamps from JustRite are all so super I couldn’t make up my mind on what to do first. Here’s what I came up with for some of them. I’m still coloring others so stay tuned! All are colored with Copic markers and mounted on various circles from Spellbinders nestabilities. Solid cardstock is C’ordinations and Stamp Express quality cardstock. Designer papers are from BoBunny. All the papers, markers and stamps are for sale right now at www.stampexpressstore.com. Diecuts on the scrapbook page are Sizzix, flowers are Prima and ribbon is from my stash. A little Stickles brightened up the jack-o’lantern eyes. What fun these were to make. Try them.
She sells seashells by the seashore. This is the theme for a beach motif we have planned for the Hagerstown SDV in August. The seashell stamp is from JustRite and colored with Copic markers. The ovals are cut out with Nestabilities from Spellbinders. The background paper is from BoBunny while the plain cardstocks are the Stamp Express quality cardstock. I made the flourishes by diecutting labels from Spellbinders and then cutting them in half. I glued one half to each side of the larger layered pieces. Come to the show and do this project as a FREE make it/ take/it. Learn how to color with Copics!
We had such a good time at the Gettysburg Scrappers Dream Vacation event that I want to share some of it with you. Our booth featured make-it/take-its with Margaret keeping it lively. The Scor-pal and Copic Markers seemed to be a big hit. Here are some photos of the gals working on the projects.
We also introduced two new stamp companies; Just-Rite and Stampavie. Two of the 12″x12″ pages we had on display are below. All images were colored with Copic markers. Bo-Bunny’s double sided paper got a lot of raves as did the Scor-tape. These products are now selling on our web store with the exception of the Bo-Bunny paper. That will be coming soon!
If you have never attended an SDV, consider the upcoming one in August at Hagerstown, MD. We’ll be there! If you’re interested go to their website at www.eventpathunlimited.com/events/
Below are some pics taken at our vendor booth at the Gettysburg SDV. Perhaps you’ll see yourself in some of these.
My mother is celebrating her 94th birthday next week. I couldn’t resist buying the new flower set from JustRite stamps to make her card. These stamps are so versatile. You purchase a stamper (wooden holder), and then fit in any stamp border and any center of that size into the stamper. It allows you to make a combination of many different designs so that it looks like you have a plethora of stamps. JustRite has several different sizes too, so you can collect anything from monograms to labels for your homemade goodies in addition to items for cards and scrapbooks. I love them!
