It’s time to create a card filled with love and appreciation for your mother, mother-in-law, mother of your grandkids, or someone who has been like a mother to you. All three used JustRite stamps. Flowers just seem to be in season. We colored with Copic markers, cut out with Spellbinders Nestabilities and embellished with Morex ribbon and Fancy Pants designer paper. The dew drops were purchased at Michaels in the floral section and then colored with Copics.

Flowers are for May and Mother’s Day. I used a flower stamp and border from Just-Rite and colored with Copic markers. Then I cut it out with a Nestabilities die. When I made the blossom shaped smaller card I cut with the largest blossom Nestabilities die, but folded the pink cardstock and placed the folded edge inside the cutting part of the die so that it does not get cut. I glued the image to the blossom and then added the whole small card to a larger card that is layered with designer paper, ribbon, and cardstock. Inside the blossom it says “Happy Mother’s Day”. Inside the larger card I can write my mom a note. The stamps and papers are all available at our on-line store. The ribbon and dies will be available at a later date. Try the card on a card with various shapes and for other occasssions.

The green card also opens up so you could write a note to Mom as indicated. You could also stamp another saying or put in a picture.
