I had a fun Saturday crafting with Dory Tibbens, Deanna Serlin and Barb Barton. Of course we were all working on winter and holiday projects. Here are a few.
My ice skating girl is so cute! She is from a Whimsy stamp and colored with Copic markers. The ice skate charm is Karen Foster. This card is for sale at the Brushstrokes and Blessings shop in the West Shore Market in Lemoyne, PA. If you want to make your own, purchase the stamp at www.stampexpressstore.com. It is a cling stamp and really well etched.
The snowman tag was made by Barb Barton and has the to/from on the back. She used a JustRite stamp and Copic markers as I did on the Santa card. Oval layers are Spellbinders Nestabilities. Santa is Back!
Gift Tag
We had so much fun last weekend at the Gettysburg Scrappers Dream Vacation. Thanks to those who supported our booth. It was great to see old friends and also to make some new friends. We’ll see you all at the Hagerstown SDV in August.
We wanted to make a baby layout using our new Stampendous stamps, but we didn’t get quite done. Here are half of them. Barb Barton designed these. Really CUTE! We thought we would make a title with these tags and spell out the word “BABY”. Both the lion and elephant are colored with Copic markers. The stamps are Stampendous cling stamps, ink is Memento, tags are our own die cuts from Accucut, ribbon from Morex. The lace doilies and other trims are from Barb’s stash. We still have to make the “A” and “Y” tags with the giraffe and zebra. You can purchase most of these items at www.stampexpressstore.com. The zebra stamp will be coming later.

Barb Barton got me started on making chipboard tags, and now I can’t seem to stop! You could use them on altered art, scrapbook pages, cards, as gift ties, or bookmarks. They are fun and challenging to make. Stampexpressstore.com sells the blank tags online. And, our Etsy store sells them already made.
